I think in the first pic, they have made a ponytail, separated it into two equal strands, regular (normal) braided them and at the end, they secured those two braids from an elastic band!
Hope I helped a little!!
And for the 2nd hairstyle I have no idea sweetie... <3

Owwwhhh! I spent a long time on this but I have figured out the second braid! don't quite know how to explain it though...take half of the outer strand out and continue the braid with the rest... sort of.
