I have been browsing Beautylish Blogs and have found so many lovely ones. I always like to check out how many followers everyone has & while some have a ton others don't have as many. I started to ask myself; How DO you get more followers?
I myself can't say I have very many at http://vivalajessi.blogspot.com and I am not too sure how to bump up the number. It's nice to dedicate time to a blog but even nicer when you have a large crowd following your posts. I'd love to hear some pointers and what not :-)
I am always looking to add new blogs to the ones I already follow, so feel free to post yours in your responses :3

From my experience I find that if you go around following and commenting on ppls blog they will either follow you back or leave a comment. This also helps to get your blog out there.

Oh, that's a good tip.. That's one thing I fail to do. I go to blogs and read the posts but never comment!

unless they are just totaly bogus I always fallow everyone who fallows me. I also look at whos falling them and look at what I think is interresting(pic,topics,ect.) Promote on all the social sites your on. The more you pop up the more likely you are to get fallowers In my experience

First and most important tip: never beg for that. that includes sub4sub because that's just dumb.
Get your channel/blog out there. We have these threads that let you post your new video/blog post whenever you have one. When people ask for channels to subscribe to, then by all means, post your link! That's great! They ask, you give. Commenting on other people's blog posts and videos work too. They'll see you and maybe they'll be curious and look. Don't put your blog link in blog comments either. That annoys a lot of us and we'll either ignore you, delete your comment, or get snippy if it gets to be too much, haha.

All SUPER good advice! I have actually gained 10 followers in the past couple days *happy dance*
I will definitely continue to follow the new tips (commenting, responding, subscribing to new blogs, etc) and I definitely think it will work. It's such a good feeling to get new followers!! hehe

Agree with Kayvona, I actually don't see anything wrong with linking blog links to the comments. I dont mind if ppl post their links on my blog just as long as their comment make sense. I do read all comments and delete whatever is jibberish. However, I dont like when non blog related stuff is linked.
