I kind of wiggle it on, or brush like each hair with the corner of the brush.

Yeahhh I put the brush on my lashes and wiggle it back and forth until it gets on and then I slowly spread the mascara down the lashes until I'm happy with it

Same as you apply top mascara. Start at the roots and follow down to the tips.
