Is it okay if I leave the lemon juice dry on my underarm or should I rinse it before I sleep?

Instead of lemon, cut a potato in half and rub it on your underarms. that should help brighten it, if not this then you can look up other DIY stuff for the underarms but lemon is not for that area.

Actually I've heard the you CAN use lemon there. Maybe not overnight but don't act like it's never been heard of.

I would say yes since ppl use lemon as deodorant. If they would wash it off than that would defeat the purpose

To lighten up your arm pit area the lemon juice is not suppose to be left sitting on your skin you rub it on before your shower or bath then rinse off like I said pure lemon juice is a acid you leave it on a while then rinse off then moisturize or make a scrub with lemon juice an baking soda and scrub the area then rinse then moisturize.

Lemon juice is good for making lighter your under arms but don't leave it over night.. leave it for 30 minutes and rinse it.

Nichole, I'm glad you found something that works for you. But it's really not recommended to expose your skin to the sun after such a mask. Because it makes your skin light-sensitive. Which means more fragile to sunlight which can result ironically in black stains on your skin :/

If it works for you then good but I'm a esthetician and I have been doing skincare treatments for years I can't say that it's a good idea to do that some people have very sensitive skin and this can really cause more harm than good if left on it is fine used an rinsed off however,an you may have skin that can tolerate it but a lot of people do not so better safe than sorry.
