So I saw this utube video of a girl with short hair and she three barreled it. It was super cute. Well mine turned out to be a hot poofy mess! Is it because I have really thick hair? How do I fix it??

When you curl hair make sure not to take too much hair and curl it away from your face ummmm how thick your hair is shouldn't matter, maybe you need a different curling iron? But also if you have drier/coarser hair it's more likely to turnout poofy.. Buy a deep conditioner/ deep condition more often. To fix it just take any sort of leave In conditioner or Aragon oil or Moroccan oil and put it on the ends of your hair like ear length down.
Hope this helps(:

Helpful tips:
-Make sure your hair is moisturized well, this style will look bad on dry hair
-comb through each piece before waving it
- take thinner chunks
- make sure the chunks are more like rectangles and not squares
- do not comb or brush it! It will puff up on you
- run your fingers through it with serum starting from the BOTTOM
