Well I used to bite my nails really bad, people used to say I had "booty nubs" , lol but anyways, they have this stuff at walmart, I don't know if its at the dollar store or not, but you put it on your nails and when you try to bite your nails it tastes disgusting.! I stopped biting my nails because I got braces last year. if you don't want to buy the nail stuff then when you find yourself biting your nails, alway put something in your mouth, such as, gum, or hard candy. and once you get out of the hobbit, buy some nail polish called green tea polish, it helps grow nails really fast. I use it.

Take time every week to give yourself a pretty manicure, that way maybe you won't bite your nails since you won't want to mess it up :)

You know I have a few friends in cosmetology school with the same problem and they swear by a good gel nail manicure. Gel nail polish is unlike regular nail polish and cures under a you've light. It's a also a lot stronger and from what I hear is not great tasting. Be warned though, I wouldn't get any gel nail polish for nail biting go with an OPI soak off gel. A regular gel may damage the nail if you try to take it off. I'll have to check my resources but if I find anything else I'll let you know.

I'm doing that at the moment (trying to stop) I just come to a realisation how disgusting it is, and made myself have a target -have nice nails for holiday-... :) good luck!

I will try my best to turn you off it lol
Every time you go to bite your nails think of all the dirt and germs all over and under them think of all the things you have touched that day you may have rubbed your dog or taken out the garbage no matter how's my times you wash your hands all the germs are still there, germs are invisible and crawling all over your nails and when you put them in your mouth germs spread & multiply
I use to remember that and think of all the germs and it completely turned me away from nail biting lol hope it works for you :) I know have beautiful long nails as a result
