You can use a semi permanent purple color like manic panic that won't damage your hair AT ALL! Don't listen to those other girls there are ways to continue to have fun without damaging it. Your hair doesn't appear to be that bad off... But I can't really honestly tell. I also don't know what products you use daily or all of the processes you've done & what color was used. I do know that ion has come out with a range of new pastel colors you can purchase at Sally's, they have a gorgeous light purple, but these however will give you some (most likely minimal) damage because use have to use a developer with them, which is peroxide... But if you were to go this route, get a 10 developer.. it will give the most least lift which is the least damaging developer and will deposit the most color. Also I would deff recommend a protein treatment right before you apply your color (apply the color right over the protein) and afterwards, the back of the bottle will tell you how to turn it into a hair masque. You will need a spray bottle to apply this too and it's called neutral protein filler- again can be picked up from Sally's. keep in mind though that the protein will help close your cuticle and
Give you root to tip even coloring, so you will need to watch your hair closely with your ombré or apply it to the roots first and then pull it thru the bottom, probably would be your best bet for the gradient effect. Also I'm a serial bleacher and hair chemist's macadema oil hair masque (you can get at Sally's too LOL) has saved my hair! so if your
Hair is in bad shape after, go grab some of this and leave it on until it dries on your hair (not the 3 mins it says on the back) and when you wash it out your hair will be so silky! The ladies at Sally's can always help you too, they're generally pretty educated in hair color for the most part and can point you in the right direction! Hope this helps! Xo
