I have had KP forever and it's gotten worse over the years. Do any of you have it too? Mine is really bad and it's embarrassing. Do you guys know how to get rid of it, or at least a little better?

I have Keratosis Pilaris also. I've found that using a non fragrance lotion and non fragrance body wash reduces redness and flare ups. Stress levels and diet also add to this.

No sorry I don't have a pic. It's like little bumps on your upper arms. They're the color of your skin and everything, but they are just little bumps

I would recommend going to your Dr. If its gotten really bad. There are topical and laser treatments for bad conditions.

My cousin had this and she used lotion that contained Vaseline. And it went away.

My dermatologist told me tanning beds help. I go every once in a while when mine starts looking bad. The lotion she prescribed was to expensive. But tanning has worked for me. Doesn't cure it but controls it.

Ya I had kp on my face,arms and legs and I got rid of most of it one summer in Florida. You just should be out it the sun and go to the sea, preferably an area with saltwater and just soak it in a little and hang out in the sun. You should also moisturizer your skin after having a shower or bath and don't pick any of it because it could scar.

I have it too! I know there are creams and I think medication, but I haven't tried any. I would go to a dermatologist before you try anything out! So many people have it, so don't be embarrassed. No one even noticed mine until I pointed it out to them...trust me it is much more noticeable to you! Hope this helped :)
