I am the second lightest shade in Colorstay (Buff) and usually in drugstore foundations i am about the second lightest shade. Although, with this it seems that the second lightest (Vanilla) Translates more closely to Ivory (the lightest shade) in Colorstay, but the third lightest color (Shell) is closer too sand beige in colorstay, which is too dark for me. I have tried to match them up in store but even then I am having a hard time. Any suggestions?

Mixing foundations might help. What shade are you trying to grt from what foundation?

Usually foundations with SPF appear lighter on the skin (especially in photos). Photo Ready has a higher SPF (20, I think) so I would pick one shade darker than you normally would. If you cant decide, or if its still not right, like Caitlin said, you could always mix!

Oh wow, haha I didn't notice how much I rambled here. I didn't even actually state my question lmao. Well what I am asking is what color in Revlon photoready would translate best to buff in Revlon colorstay?

Quite honestly You should get Vanilla and use a darker setting powder. Usually when a foundation oxidizes it becomes darker as well. So you might find, once it settles in it might match up. And if not, you can always return it.
