Just wear some foundation, eyeliner, mascara and if you like some lipstick or something. Don't go overboard. It looks tacky when girls do

Just go with natural looking makeup.. trust me I learned the hard way that wearing too much makeup that doesn't flatter your face makes you fall more of that "immature freshman" stereotype because too much will make you look like you're trying too hard..well atleast not on the first day aha.

I think cat eyes are fun anywhere (: but youre mistake is trying to find something "appropriate". Do whatever makes you happy. Appropriate has boundarys, so I'm guessing for you its a no go on full face rainbow makeup, but do what youre comfortable in.

I agree, if you're comfortable with it then go for it, I've seen a lot of girls come to school on the first day looking like people they really weren't, be yourself. High school's might be a little intimidating but if your comfortable and confident with who you are and the way you look you'll have no problem :)

Less is more in high school.by lunch most of the makeup I see around has melted shifted or done something else really funky lol.
