It could just be you have sensitive skin and need something a little gentler. and like emily said, check your ingredients cause a lot of products contain allergens and harsh fragrances and chemicals that upset the skin.

I have very sensitive skin and what I like to do to exfoliate is instead of using a product with exfoliating beads or grains, I like to use my normal facial cleanser but I use it on a rough wash cloth and gently use that to exfoliate.

I do exactly what Nicole said! I do it every day and its fine because it's a lot gentler on my skin.

It could be the product. I make my own exfoliators because I know every single thing that is in it and I get to control what I need the most and what I don't. so yeah but I do agree with everyone one else's statements.
