Look into getting a glycolic cleanser or serum. PeterThomasRoth has some. Also make sure you're exfoliating one to two times a week. This will help clear any dead skin/debris out of your pores.

Hot water is actually not the best for your skin. It evaporates quickly which in turn takes the moisture out of your skin.

Use biore pore strips it works like a charm! Best time to do it is after a nice warm shower as it opens the pore

I have blackheads to and they are really hard to get rid of them well for me. What I do I daily scrub by nose area with the clean and clear blackhead eraser and use biore strips after a shower and sooner or later you will have to blackheads.

Blackhead pore strips:
1 Tablespoon Unflavored Gelatin
1 1/2- 2 Tablespoons Milk {any kind}
Measure 1 Tablespoon of unflavored gelatin into a disposable container {if you put say, green jell-o on your face, there might be trouble} Add 1-2 Tablespoons of milk into the gelatin. Mix it up, and be quick about it, until you get a chunky consistency.? Add more milk if you?re uncomfortable with the amount of chunk.Microwave the gelatin for about 10-15 seconds.? It will get creamier in the microwave.? Stir that around and start applying it?IMMEDIATELY?to your face.? This stuff hardens up fast so you?ve got to act fast. Let it dry for about 15+ minutes.? I waited longer, but?you?ll know it?s time when you can?t talk for fear of breaking something. Grab whatever you can and start peeling! :)

I watched a video of a girl take them out with a bobby pin. I tried it myself. It did work, but it kinda hurt! Maybe I did it wrong. But you could look it up if you wanna try!

I don't recommend you use any tools to remove blackheads yourself. I'm a licensed Esthetician and I only do it because I'm trained. You'd risk scarring yourself.

Listen to Bobbie ^ I think I did scar myself :(

I am so interested in this post! I was actually thinking of creating one when I saw this one so I guess I'll just ask my question here. I also have blackheads and I have enough of scrubbing and toning... is there anyway to actually cure them? go to the root of the problem and solve it??

I use a 20%L-Lactic acid on my areas where blackheads appear. I would recommend seeing an Esthetician or Derm to get a nightly serum.

DermaDoctor has a blackhead treatment. It's not too expensive either.
