Yeah maybe too much light haha. I don't use natural lighting though I hope I can because there's no space for me to film infront of my window and it's always noisy in the day time so what I do is I place a standing lamp from IKEA (changing the bulbs to white) behind my tripod and start filming. Sorry, can't help much, only can help with filming at night. :/

I dont think you can have too much light ;) not when its natural light anyway. I'd start looking at the settings on your camera. You can google any camera's settings if you dont know them all by heart (and dont feel like going and finding the little book that came with the camera box and then trying to find the right chapter and yeah, you get the picture (ha ha)). The more light you have the easier it is for the camera to pick things up and you'll get much better quality. :)

No settings at all? Wow, that's lame... Sorry, I'm not that into videos nor video cameras, but there must be a store somewhere close to you where they know a thing or two about camcorders. Maybe you can get a digital camera that takes both photos and records video? Just tell them exactly what you want the camera to do and what price range you're looking for and they should be able to give you some suggestions. Maybe you can even try it in the store or make sure you can return it if it doesn't do what you want it to?
