So I have really been wanting to try tight lining, but I'm scared to do it. I feel like I might poke my eye. Any tips?

Tight lining is when you put eyeliner on like.. Your 'inner' lash line. You would pull your lid up and put the eyeliner on your inner lash line.

Use a gel eyeliner, something not as pokable as a pencil. and just go for it. its scarier than it seems, its not bad at all :)

Ease into it and get used to it. Gently pull your lid up to better expose your lash line, let yourself blink when you need to so your eyes don't water and mess up your makeup, and quickly swipe on the eyeliner back and forth. It takes some getting used to :)

I would also say to use a creamy eyeliner when started. Because it makes it MUCH easier with a creamy one.

Even if you poke your eye it doesn't hurt. It only hurts if you scratch it like with the wooden part of a pencil liner that needs to be sharpened. (It's never hurt me anyways)

I kind of lift my eyelid up and then tightline. it's easier to see what I am doing and it doesn't really bother me or me skin.

I've done it before.. I do my mascara and then color them in with eyeliner. it works for me and looks good too.

It's pretty scary at first, not going to lie. But now I use it everyday! It's a very natural, invisible eyeliner & it makes your lashes look tons thicker! It's an awesome technique, it just takes getting used to. Good Luck. <3

Don't be! All you have to do is just get your favorite eyeliner and take a tightline brush and pulling your lid as you go a long it get a perfect and bold tightline evrrytime! just be bery steady and patient!

It's scary at first. My eyeball was literally tearing up. But now I do it everyday and it makes such a difference! :)
