Ladies and gents have you ever used it as a primer? If so do you like? Will you drop the brand names for it? Cause if y'all don't know by now I'm a stickler for a bargain lol...so let me know!! Lol.

Monistat Chafing Relief Powder-Gel's active ingredient is Dimethicone 1.2%, which is listed as a skin protectant. Dimethicone is also found in the Smashbox primer, along with other ingredients. Dimethicone is a silicon based polymer often found in all sorts of cosmetics and hair products. In makeup and face products, it is usually used as a temporary?filler for fine lines and wrinkles. It doesn't help fix them long term?just helps temporarily fill them in, until washed off.? As far as primers in general, they help smooth the surface of the skin including fine lines, wrinkles and pores, allowing makeup to apply more evenly and leave a smoother finish. Primers also help your makeup last longer. So I guess with that said, it makes sense that the Monistat would work as a primer.... walmart sells it for about $5 a tube

Definitely going to try this.. and monistat 7 for hair growth.. the drugstore clerk is never going to think its beauty related!! ha!

From what I understand monistat chafing gel has the same exact ingredients as smashbox primer. not sure if the quantities are the same but I have been meaning to try it as soon as I'm done with my other primer. It might be a bit tho, they were on discount 75% off so I grabbed 4 lol

Many primers are too wet for my liking. The Monistat is like a gel to powder almost. It is very smooth and diffusing. I dropped all of my expensive primers when I tried it.

I have to try this after my current primer is finally finished. I am curious, and I used to always get the smash box primer but I stopped because it was pricey.

I never have but I definitely will, especially if its so similar to smashbox primer which is one of my favorite!
