Hey ladies! So I've been seeing a lot of talk about tea tree oil and how its supposed to be really good. However I do need more knowledge on the product and was wondering if someone could explain exactly what its good for?? Thanks in advance for your help ladies! :)

Acne, body odor, blisters, burns, dandruff, dry skin, head lice, and insect bites :) My sister uses it for everything haha.

I use it for so much. In diluted form on pimples. Concentrated form I put a couple drops in my shoes, my underarms for a natural deodorant, in my ironing water, using it as an insect repellant. Oh my... the list goes on.

@jes t my next question was going to be would it be suitable for dry skin?! thanks however would you happen to know how is it I'm supposed to use it for dry skin? ex: skin on my face is pretty dry even with moisturizer...its a mix of dry combination though I don't know if that makes sense :p

It just adds a fresh scent. it does have antibacterial properties to it.. but I'm sure you would have to add a lot of it to mop water for that purpose.

Like Kathryn said, it has antibacterial properties in it. I use the oil mostly on my pimples. I just dab a bit onto each bump & pat it in. Also I put it in my conditioner when I deep condition. If gives your scalp that tingly feeling. I've also put it on mosquito bites.
