Take a long tube sock, or depending on how long your hair is a smaller sock, and cut the toe off. roll it up into a doughnut shape. put your hair in an ponytail and pull the tail through the middle of the doughnut and fold the hair over around the the bun. here is a pictorial if that's confusing ;-) you can also buy the buns at the drugstore or beauty supply but I just prefer to make my own, just use up your old mismatch sock that you have lying around. hope this helps!
