The tops of my eyelids are very red.. What caused this and what can I do to fix it?

Maybe it's sunburn? The redness should improve if you put aloe on it.

You eyelids may be irritated by your eyeliner if you wear eyeliner.

It may be from the eyeshadow when you take it off.. you might have taken it off a little ruff, try using olive oil or coconut oil to remove eyeshadow, it more gentle than wipes.

Your veins, maybe (some people can have veiny eyelids)? Or an irritation from rubbing your eye.

Apply vaseline overnight to reduce redness.

It could be a reaction to some makeup you may use. Before you put on eyeshadow or eyeliner you should put in an eyelid primer
