Thinning Coarse Hair And Getting It Silkier?

I already use heat protectant and use my conditioner, but i shampoo every other wash to keep the good oils in my hair. I have thick hair but it DOES have alot of split ends. I try not to straighten/ curl my hair that often and i NEVER blow dry it.... So i want thinner, silkier hair. My hair is naturally wavy /straight.... Thanks dolls!!
