I heard your hair gets shorter every time you dye it.. I know that happens when you bleach it because from personal experience but is it the same when using regular dye? btw I haven't dyed my hair in about two years and well this whole accidental "ombre" looking thing is bugging tf out of me xD.

No regular dye won't make it shorter. Regular dye with no bleach is hardly damaging.

Ok cool that's what I thought since I whenever I did it I never saw a difference.. I always thought it was just damaging if it was excessive.. I don't know lol.

My little trick is to lighten my hair with 40 developer only. It minimizes the damage that coloring hair brings. I use it on my extensions and since its developer you leave it on a little longer than you would bleach..Here's a link to a vid I followed when I lightened my hair in the spring: http://m.youtube.com/?reload=9&rdm=tysxg1yk#/watch?v=nFWiigT4G1s&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DnFWiigT4G1s.
