I'm going through bulimia withdrawal I havent done it for 6 months but this girl triggered me and I wanted to do it but I stayed strong.

Anyways I was having bad withdrawal and I can't move I'm having trouble. Everything hurts. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

If your body is hurting, that's bad. Chances are you've done some damage by purging. Have seen a doctor? That would be the best thing for you to do.

I havent purged for 6 months. I've been happy and healthy until this girl that is jealous of me told everyone I had anorexia on instagram and stole my best friends phone and called me to make puking noises. I was really sad and had a panic attack and this made me want to purge but I did not purge so I got withdrawal in the form of aching body.

I haven't been where you are to say whether or not that's normal reaction. 6months is a long time for you to now be seeing this kind of change. I think you prob need to get your blood checked and make sure all your levels are ok.. I'm not the biggest fan of doctors but let them check everything and explain to them what you're feeling.
I'm glad you stopped purging. good for you!! you're going to b just fine. just stick with it!.

Ahh I understand now. Yes from my experience its pretty normal. The internal battle definitely takes a toll on your body.

Mookey I don't think you want to trigger her. She needs help regardless of where it's posted.
Maybe you should make an appt with a doctor I know being bulimic is psychological, but the physical effects of it can be quite harmful. Please please please go see a doctor. They're there to help :)

@Mookey This is going to sound very rude, frankly it is, but that is possibly the dumbest thing I've ever read. First of all, eating disorders are a form of mental disorder. Yes they can be triggered by being bullied but that's not what causes them. It's the make up of the brain. Also, getting stressed out and having an anxiety attack are completely different. That girl was purposely triggering Elana's eating disorder which is extremely more difficult to deal with than a little criticism. And really? Punch her in the face? That just shows immaturity and is pretty trashy. I know this probably sounds harsh and mean but really I'm pissed.

Mookey, she has a disorder and was almost triggered into doing something dangerous and you're calling her too sensitive?? What? And I agree completely Courtney.

Good for you for staying strong :) I would go see a doctor as well, just to make sure everything is alright! Don't worry about the comments on this post or the things that that girl said to you, some people are just insensitive and rude. Focus on yourself, you are doing amazing! :)

Mookey stop being so damn rude. Okay, maybe it isn't the right site to put it on but it gives you no right to bag on her. Keep it to yourself for God's sake. Fighting is NEVER the answer. that's fucking immature.

If you had an anxiety or panic attack yes it's normal for your body to hurt everywhere afterwards. It's also kinda hard to function right until you calm down.

That's awesome that you stayed strong! For tonight, take a nice hot, relaxing, candle lit bath and blare your music and drift to la la land... tomorrow morning call the doc and explain the sudden change... good luck and don't let no one get under your skin

Mookey, you need to stop. It's not always someone triggering it. It could be yourself triggering it, therefore you hurt yourself. Or what if it's your parents pressuring you, you want her to go up and punch her parents?

This is an open community. People use makeup to boost self esteem she's having issues we should be here for her just as much as she is there for other girls.

And Elana I didn't even think about it, but yes when I have panic attacks, my muscles tense, my body aches, and I get headaches so yes it's normal, take a bath and relax :) you're inspiring. I don't have an ED, but I have chronic depression and anxiety so I feel you. Stay strong baby girl :) I'm extremely proud of you.

Actually I do care how she is... I'm wondering where she is right now while y'all are arguing...

Sit there and tell me I don't care when so many close friends if mine have suffered.
For someone with a kid you're quite harsh and emotionless.

Guys, some people will just never understand. But it's nice to see how many people actually do care. I really hope Elana is doing ok.

Mookey no shit I could read. Wtf do terrorist have to do with this topic?xD you're so immature grow up dude. I'm not telling her to let herself get picked on, but you can't go punching everyone who insults you. Grow up. "little girl"

Anyway Elana, I'm sorry the "bitch" came out of me, but you should go see a doctor babe :)

I'm with you, Mookey!

Elana, get yourself off this app/website and get some real help. You need professional help and support from people you actually know, care about, and love. This isn't the place to do it. Best wishes to you.
