I have lots of scars on my face from previous pimples. are there any effective ways to get rid of them without causing more pimples that aren't too expensive?

I used lemon juice on a qtip it lightened my scars a lot and with the use of sunscreen they were gone in a matter if weeks.

Ponds dark spot correcting mostuirizer not to expensive $11 gives you even tone in 4weeks kinda long but it's worth it.  (:
