Patience and saving money. I personally love high end makeup more than drugstore. I know you can get a lot more products from the drugstore, but you normally can't try them out first and it's too much of a gamble for me. Take quality over quantity. If you want a really good makeup collection: save your money and get the best :).

Save your money, and get a variety of colors. A couple neutrals, couple warm colors, an a couple cool colors. Then you build from there!
