I left them on for 45 min if you leave them longer the curl will be tighter :)

I think shes using socks and I did that once and it turned out gorgeous.

@ Mary R nope it's dry
@ Francis M I grab a piece of hair like if you were to curl it with a curler then I just place the sock in the middle of the hair and wrap it around :) hopefully that makes sense
