As for primer I recommend Lorac, Benefit Porefessional. Try using a setting spray your makeup will last longer.

If your not sure ask for samples and try them out for a few days. See how your skin reacts to it and if you like it buy the full size.

You could try sephoras own brand of foundation, it's not too expensive and has pretty decent covage :)

MAC is a company that creates makeup for theatrical purposes. That is probably the reason why most steer clear of their foundations. They are very, very full coverage (for the stage).

I LOVE mac. I have the same skin as you, I use the studio fix fluid in NC20 and I love it. I'm on my third bottle. blendable, good coverage, nice pigment, stays on all day. its my fave
