Hey guys,
So I already posted about this as a comment but since I'm getting desperate I thought I would make it a post of its own.
So since about two weeks ago I noticed something very weird going on with my hair. Every time I wash it, no matter how often (I wash it every day when I take my daily shower), as soon as it dries it seems to get this weird waxy buildup on it and I just can't seem to get rid of it! It has never happened to me before... It smells great but looks horrible, as if I haven't washed it in weeks.
I tried switching shampoos, washing my hair backwards (first conditioner then shampoo), not using any conditioner, washing my hair less often but nothing helped.
Being the type of girl who can't stand not having her hair look good, it's really started to affect me negatively. Do any of you guys know how to fix this? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you ❤❤❤

This may be weird but.. A cup of water and about a quarter-half a cup of vinegar. Wash your hair, rinse w the mix, leave on for a few min, & rinse out. This helped me, I hope it helps you!!

This sounds really weird but… shampoo the top of your hair like near the roots and then condition the bottom half. Also don't. Use any product on the roots besides shampoo.

It could be build up from the shampoo and conditioner... Use baking soda and rub it into the roots..

Mabey try one of those rinses you can buy tht gets to of any build up. Also mabey try to get a shampoo that dosnt have sulfate/alcohol/protein or very little in it. These can be really bad for your hair.

Thank you guys!! This really helped, I think I'm going to go for the clarifying shampoo advice, never been a fan of vinegar! Also every time I try a home made remedy or treatment for anything I always fail miserably :P.

Don't wash your hair everyday maybe every other day cuz its probably build up of shampoo and conditioner and it can dry out your scalp unfortunately
