It depends on your eye color and the eyeshadow your wearing and I'd you want a bold look. I wear black eyeliner because I have greenish blue eyes and it makes them pop.

If you want to go less dramatic then go for brown, if you want a more dramatic look, go for black. hope that helps!

It can depend on what type of look your going for. I would recommend the brown eyeliner for when you want a softer, natural look but I have dark brown eyes too and I tend to mostly reach for the black eyeliner
