Hey everyone! Do you know of anyway to protect hair color from the sun? I'm getting mine colored this weekend and going on vacation soon, and I don't want it to get too light in the sun after I just paid to dye it.
Thanks a bunch! :)

Also ion has a sun protection spray that works pretty well too. You can get it at Sally's. it's part of the swimmer's line.

Several It's a 10 products protect your hair from the sun. And Paul Mitchell makes a sun repair mask, but I would imagine there is also something to protect hair in the same line.
Personally, I use It's a 10. I use the leave in product after I get out of the shower and it protects your hair from heat, UV rays, etc. I've been riding around in my convertible all summer and my hair has faded less than it usually does, but it fades even if I'm not in the sun at all like in the winter.

Ion from sallys makes a sun protection spray which is about $6-7 and aveda makes a sun protection spray as well that is about $27, both are pretty much like sunscreen but for your hair that will protect from uva/ uvb rays and damage/ dryness! both of these work awesome just different price points and also wearing a hat helps (:
