Bag for College?

So I am starting college in the next few weeks and I need a bag to carry all my books and my laptop in! I was thinking I would rather have a tote style bag as opposed to a backpack. Any suggestions on a cute but usable bag?

I would go for a nice large tote that's cute. usually pink has some cute ones but I'm pretty sure there are more out there.

Long Champ tote bag and Michael Kors jet set tote bag came in handy for me during collage. To this day these bags are still sturdy and looks brand new. They may be considered to be a little bit more on the pricey side but they're definitely worth the money. Both of these bags are considered to be "classic totes" so they'll never go out of style. Hope this gives you an idea as to what to look for :)

Agree with Rachel R all the way. I have both Longchamp and Michael Kors totes and they literally march everything I wear, they can fit a hell of a lot of stuff without falling apart and they super durable. I've had mine forever and they never get old or out of style. The Longchamp lacks pockets and.compartments but they are waterproof too! So I would say save up and alternate between the two.
