I really like the Bare Minerals foundation, you can wear it alone and have a full coverage, and still feel like you have no makeup. I also really like the bronzer, but it does have some shimmer if you dont like that. I think it is a great deal for the amount of products your getting, I would say tottally a buy

@ Nicole. So it does break out for certain people. Before I just think that bare mineral is a very fine product as what it claimed. I have just tried the foundation compact, and it really gives me shimmering effect. However it really looks unnatural. I do not know that sephora in my country can ask for a sample, but I will try to ask. Thanks Nicole.

MaryKay sells basically the same thing for WAY cheaper. Plus, it looked a lot less cakey on my skin.

i LOVE BareMinerals i used to hate it ...in stores my face was never preped right now it's my holy grail i have a vid on it in my videos and the new compact one is awesomeeee oh not trying to promote myself i just think my vid will help ya out..(i was just reading the side bar lol)

I've used BM for at lease 8 years and will nvr stop. I get complimented on my skin all the time and it nvr makes me break out ( I used to have very bad skin, was even on accutane). I have even slept in it (no on purpose lol) and still nvr had any skin problems. I have converted many ppl into using it.

I dont know if the coverage would be able to cover your acne scars, for me it works fine for redness and acne. I is a very pigmented powder, and has a medium coverage. You could try concealer under the foundation

@ jamie. I saw from your profile that you have a dry skin, however mine is oily. do you think is it ok for me to use it. i don't have sensitive skin and sometimes i have few acne. however my problem is to cover my deep scar. is the new compact included in the kit ?

@charlotte. if it can give me a medium coverage, how long do you think it can last in my face ? i live in a hot country where the degree is around 20-30. Is the shimmering effect from the foundation and blush reduce the durability of the make up ?

I bought the previous version of this kit with the matte foundation. The brushes that this comes with are crap. They are crown brushes with the bare minerals name on them.
The foundation itself I did not like. It broke me out and my face was always really itchy...and I am not prone to breakouts at all.
I haven't tried their concealers.
The warmth is REALLY dark and it has a red undertone which looks really fake.
The Mineral Veil is the ONLY product I liked and the only product I would repurchase now that it comes in the READY packaging. All in all I wouldn't recommend this kit at all. I think it's a waste of money. The only thing worth buying is the mineral veil.

Yes, yes and yes! I received it for Christmas a few years back from my mother and I love it. I still have a few things left. I love the foundation itself. It makes your skin look absolutely flawless and it goes on very evenly. I never had a problem with it fading or rubbing off. It's one of the few foundations that actually don't break me out. I loved the Prime Time as well, it is still my favorite face primer ever. I love the Mineral Veil too. I use it all the time, no matter what foundation I use. The brushes aren't bad, but not the best either. The concealer brush is nice, but you can find better ones. The other brushes are okay but shed a bit. All in all I would definitely say it's worth buying.

I bought this kit a few weeks ago and it instantly broke me out when I applied it. (I have oily skin.) I was pretty bummed about it as well, I also found that it did not give me as great of a coverage as other people say they get from it, which also bummed me out. I have some redness and acne scarring and I found that it didn't cover it for me. I personally don't recommend it, but you don't know how it would react on you until you try it.

Not worth it especially coming from MUFE. The products don't compare. MUFE is much better coverage and much better wearability.

I wear purely cosmetics. No crap and no shine. I have acne and I am super oily, PC is buildable so I can over blemishes.
