I really would like to lighten my hair a little is there anyway to do this without bleaching? Because about 3 years ago, I professionally got my whole head bleached and it ended up completely destroying my hair and my hair was very healthy before that. And I bleached my bangs a year ago and it didn't go too bad but the one side did break off a little. Could it be because my hair is so healthy? Why does this happen?

You can use a high volume developer. I used 40 volume developer to lighten my virgin (not processed) extensions plenty of times. It takes a little longer than bleach to lift but it definitely gets the job done

Bleaching your hair damages your hair no matter how the quilty of the bleach is.
