My hair straightens out and can't hold curls well either so I use moose the night before and do what Stephanie suggests! The longer it's held in that curl, the longer your hair will stay curled! Sometimes I do it the morning of the day before without any moose and it stays all day the next day, without any hairspray either! So moose and hairspray if you can't commit that much time, but definitely follow Stephanie's suggestion of overnight methods. Hair rollers, etc. :)

Pin them as you curl them, then set them with your favorite hair spray.

Hot rollers! They are the key to long lasting curls. When I had really long hair, this was the only way I could get them to stay. I'd wash my hair first, then blow dry with moose in it, then use hot rollers. The curls would last for at least 2 days.

I have the same problem. I recently hit a jackpot product combo. mousse and salt spray on wet hair, blowdry, curl w/ 1" iron and spray section immediately w/ elnett satin. DO NOT PULL OR BRUSH CURL UNTIL HAIR HAS COOLED. hope this helps. lol.
