Loose shadow vs. Pressed shadow

pressed shadow in my opinion would be easier to use but once you get the hang of it (without making a huge mess) loose shadow is very useful in a whole variety of ways and can last a while, with just a tiny tiny bit and some mixing medium you can do both lids, use it as an eyeliner and even a lip color ^_^

I think pressed shadow is easier to use and can last long with the right base/primer. I think loose shadow can last just as long or longer, but is a little trickier to use and messier. With the right base/primer, brush and mixing medium or water, it can go smoothly though. I think loose shadows/pigments are much more pigmented and brighter in color though. There are benefits to each depending on your look. I would recommend using a mixing medium or plain old water on a synthetic flat brush and tapping off the access shadow when going to apply though. Hope this helps :)

Pressed is by far the easiest. It is also less messy.
