I'm having a hard time choosing between red and purple. I had originally drew the rose with yellow petals, but my skins too light for yellow.

Amanda's idea is good :3 that way you can see what it would look like without it being.. permanent! lol.
but I personally would go with red. I know its common, but red is very striking against skin I find. it will be much more vibrant & noticeable, if that's what you're wanting c:
