I really want my kinky hair to get curly. What should I use and do to get my kinky hair curly

I wear my hair in its natural state and there is really no way to get kinky hair to go curly. You can try and relax the pattern by using certain products such as a stretching cream or gel formula but its not going to be a big transformation. Just embrace your texture and work with it instead of against it. First you need to find out what your curl pattern is...and since you're mentioning that your hair is kinky you can be a 4A, 4B or 4C. These are based on curl patterns. For example, 4A folks, Macy Gray, Solange. 4B Lauryn Hill. 4C Jill Scott. Knowing where you're at on the spectrum will allow you tailor your hair program to the right products so you aren't wasting money on stuff that isn't a right fit for your hair (I speak from experience and I wasted a TON of money using the wrong stuff).

Hey Antoinette :)
I too am on a hair journey and trying figure things out
one thing I know for sure is that whatever texture hair you have is Beautiful and you can achieve the look your are going for !!!!
TIPS:
Make sure that you keep your hair hydrated
use products[shampoos, conditioners, masque leave-In's] with Olive oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and find what ingredient your hair responds positively to!!!
Be sure to condition your hair daily because kinky hair is "z" shaped and fine hair is "I" shaped it is hard for your natural oils to slide from root to tip .
Do not heat your hair daily because it will dry your hair and effect your texture
i love Carols Daughter products, Organix , Miss Jessies, Kinky Curly
The best places to get pure Oils would be Sprouts, Trader Joes, Wholefoods and other natural based grocers :)
Good luck and keep us posted XOXO
