I was just wondering if you dye jetblack hair with blonde or light brown hair dye will the color come out? at least make it lighter?

No it won't because color doesn't lift color.

With jet black colored hair you have to bleach it to get lighter and tone it so its not orange.

Anti dandruff shampoos such as head and shoulders or pantene are really good for stripping colour out. also dishwasher tablets crushed up or washing up liquid is amazing. just make sure you have a really good conditioner afterwards!
