I just went up a size yesterday! I'm at 8g now! I waited a week to do it.

I have 00g now. Whenever I want to stretch out my ears I always tug on my taper to make my ear stretch a bit and then ill test out the bigger size to see if I'm ready. When I do that I use lotion or soap or Vaseline. But be careful because you don't want to blow out your ear.

Just so you know when I do tug on my ear I do it for at least 3-4 days.

Mine are 9/16. I'd wait so you don't risk ripping your ear. It's far more painful and puts you at risk for infection. If you put coconut oil on then for a week prior to going up a size and tug on them gently during the day it will really help.

I'm 0g now but when started I jumped size every week because I could not wear tapers at work so it hurt a lot. It's better to wait if you can!! Also I used ointments or sprays that contain lidocaine to help with the pain.
