So I've tried a few black eye liners over the years but am yet to find one that does not smudge... also that will stay put if my eye water... suggestions please

I had the same issue!!! what i use now days is a powder eyeliner, with a angled brush and it never smudges ever!! or you can simply use a black eye shaddow :)

On my waterline I've always liked gel liners. Nothing stays like a gel liner. I've used Sonia Kashuk, L'Oreal HIP, ELF, MAC Fluidline, and (I think) one from Sephora. They've all done WAY better than any pencil. To line my lower lash line I generally just use a good eyeshadow primer as a base then line with an eyeshadow and I never end up with smudging.

Maybelline eye studio gel liner it never moves for me I love it the only thing is you gotta apply it with a brush..:) hope this helps!

The maybelline gel liner! I use a cheap elf black liner, dip the pencil into the gel, and apply it the way because the brush irratates my eyes

Gel liners but it irritates my water line the gel liners but go ahead n try it but make sure to set it with mac carbon shadow :)

MAC smolder eye khol pencil is great and smudgable, but very pigmented and soft.
Inglot's AMC 77 black gel liner is amazing once its set nothing will make it move, perfect for the waterline.

I use Dior waterproof liner in Trinidad. The trick is to layer it. Put some in and wait a solid minute for it to set, then you can put more on and get a true solid black. I have oily eyelids and this stuff stays put. It's pricey but the cost pays for the lack of frustration.
