That's a good question.
Just like foods and sweets, cigarettes won't affect your breakout rate. Breakouts are genetic and hormonal. So if your genes are pro breakouts, you will breakout.
If you stress out, you might break out.
But foods, alcohol, and smoking will not affect your skin.
That is not to say I endorse any type of smoking, its risks are far worse than just breakouts.

It could but I don't think it can. I agree with Rose Y. Its like a hormone/ genetic thing that runs through the family. You should be okay!:)

Smoking causes acceleration of skin ageing and your skin can become very dry, along with these factors the skin may develop a grey/yellow colour and become coarse with broken blood vessels
I do not know the circumstances you are in, whether this is information for someone else or a choice of your own but smoking causes A LOT more long term damage than breakouts which you are probably aware of
