Cosmetology is working with hair, makeup, skin care, and occasionally nails...you have to go to training programs that last from 9 months to 2 years and you have to pass a test to get your license, different states require different things to specialize in that so a lot of it depends on where you're going to work.

I agree, Jennifer. You might want to start by looking up your state's licensing requirements and from there, check out what schools align with what you want to do, and what those requirements are. Good luck!
