I think you have to go to beauty school, but I'm not sure.

You could go to a trade school/beauty school but you don't necessarily have to go to a school that specializes in that.you have to take training programs that last from 9months to 2years. you need to pass a test to get your license. different states require different things to workk in that so a lot of it depends on where you're going to be working.

I recommend going to a school that will cover all your classes. Hair makeup nails ect. I recently applied to vista college they have an amazing school and offer everything at once rather than taking everything separate and paying more money. For a 50 week program I'm going to be paying 20,295$. It might be different where ever y'all are but don't get discouraged apply for your Fasfa, get grants, loans scholarships. It's totally worth it. If you have the ambition you can most deff do it.
