anyone use a camera under 100 dollars that takes good pictures and video? i bought a samsung hd one and it washed out my makup looks worse then my cell phone.. ive tried ALL kinda of lighting i cant get it to look right its always washed out but soo pretty in person :-(

Under $100 is a bit tricky, but maybe look into a webcam? You can get a really nice one for $100 or less.
HD webcams have software that can help with focus, brightness balance, and all that. I imagine you can also take nice pictures with the video stills, or just a regular picture in general.

I use two different cameras, though very cheap. For pictures I use the Canon Power Shot A1100 IS, Pretty much any Canon camera should do, they take amazing pictures (not something to use in a photo shoot, though) and are really cheap. The camcorder I use isn't HD but I think it does the trick, but in certain lighting it isn't the greatest. It was only like 30/40 dollars. It is the Samsung Schneider Kreuznach.
