Okay, so my skin care routine could definitely use some tweaking... and I have rather dry skin, and since winter is coming up I could use help. It is still rather warm where I live 70-80 degrees F.
Every morning
Neutrogena Grape Fruit Acne Wash
FX Special Effects Moroccan Moisture Miracle Argan Oil (as moisturizer and primer)
At night
Neutrogena Eye Make up remover
Clinique 7 day scrub (every other night)
Neutrogena Grape Fruit Acne Face wash(on nights I don't exfoliate)
FX Special Effects Moroccan Moisture Miracle Argan Oil (as moisturizer)
Once a week, usually on sunday nights.. I use a home made hydrating face mask usually consisting of avacados, bananas, honey, and olive oil.
Lips.
Once a week I exfoliate with a home made lip scrub
and I use babylips lipbalm. the green minty one.
Could you give me some high end and drugstore products I could use to help.. I really need to improve my skin care because my make up just sits on top of my skin and often looks cakey and powdery and it causes it to tranfer, I do have some what sensitive skin but not to the point where I constantly break out..

Ok, you definitely need to take out that Neutrogena Grape Fruit Acne Wash and go with a cream based cleanser as its not going to dry out the skin. Try Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask (its essentially a glorified moisturizer but super moisturizing...I use it after my clay mask and my skin loves it). I would look into an powdered based enzyme peel (its super gentle as there are no granulars even though its an exfoliatent). Dermalogical and AmorePacific both have them. I use the one from AmorePacific only when I feel that my skin needs a little extra help. So that would cancel out using the Clinique Seven Day scrub. The best cream cleansers that I've encountered comes from Renee Rouleau. She has a website where she has a complete skincare line as she is a big time facialist in Texas (has two spas and it often featured Entertainment Tonight. I love her line and prices are comparable to the high-end brands at Sephora.

Thank you, I am thinking about picking up the Garnier Moisture Rescue for very dry skin for now, I hear it is very similar to cliniques moisture surge. I plan on making my way over to Sephora in a couple weeks and picking up some products for an improved skincare routine..
