Based on my opinion, I suggest if you have lighter skin do a bright red, if you have darker skin do a deep red.

I think either would look great on a "center spectrum" skin tone. You could try a bright red with a slight orange undertone, or a deep burgundy that still has a little light to it.

I wear reds alot. I would say whatever you're comfortable wearing. I have worn dark and light reds all year long. I'm NW10 so I pretty much rock them all the time I don't just use dark reds for fall/winter time.

I think finding out if you need a blue based red or a yellow based red is the first step. I've been loving a darker deep red now that fall is here. A great bright blue based red is NYX Chaos. I also just got Too Faced Drop Dead Red which is a really deep blue base red. Red lips are always a "do" in my opinion.

I have been looking for the perfect red lip and I say do I actually ended up with 3 totally different reds but the one I love the most is macs brick liner with Eden rouge lip that just came out... Do the red, fall is coming and it's the color of the season :) good luck

Definitely do! Some people would say it's too much for school, but it all depends on what you're comfortable with. I went to school with red lips plenty of times and received lots of compliments. I say go with the darker red :)

I love love red I used to wear it all the time but since I have my braces I stopped ONLY till my treatment is over tho :) but I loved rocking the blue toned reds in fall n all winter the plums ! So if you feel good JUST GO FOR IT! Some would love u but some would hate u! But do you really have the time to worry about haters???:)))

Go with your gut for reds, chances are if you love the color you will be confident wearing and it will look good :)
