My makeup always gets blotchy in some areas throughout the day. It gets worse if I try to touch it up with power or concealer. I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I use: a primer, Revlon colorstay (so I'm thinking it's not the foundation), and a translucent setting powder. Am I using too much product, not enough product, or do I just have crazy skin?!

do you dab powder on or rub it in?

I dab it on after my foundation has dried a bit. Then I lightly buff it in and that's all.

Use a better primer (i recommend Smashbox, MUFE or Lancome) and use a better setting powder, after all is said & done, use a setting spray (i recommend Urban Decay, Mac Fix+ or Skindinavia). I hope this helps! :-)
