I have some in my house too... not the same but organic as well... I haven't used it at all actually... but I am curious to see what girls use it as... I've heard that you can put it in your hair or something but not really sure.

Coconut Oil is great for hair, so what I do is just mix it with honey and egg to create a hair mask. It leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny <3.

I use it as a detangler (I'm natural), to make my hair super soft (let it sit in your hair over night with a shower cap on, take it off and feel the softness - though if you're relaxed this is probably best to do only if you're washing your hair the next morning), and I use it as a sealant oil.

Noooo. Being black our hair needs the extra oil anyway. Moisturize your hair and THEN put oil in it, it'll make your hair sooo much happier. Oil is a sealant so it seals in moisture, apply moisture before sealing and you're hair will me much happier and healthier.
The only time I wash it out is if I do the shower cap method before washing my hair, that's it.
If it is refined for smell, then no. If it's refined for anything else, depending on what it is, then it may be lacking some of the nutrients.
