Ok so I want to grow out my eyebrows..is there any way to help make the hairs grow more or just wait patiently?
Oct 27, 2013
Sarah N.
I think wait because I'm not really sure is you can boost up the growing time.

Apply almond oil regularly... don't get your eyebrows done for some time... but if you want to get dem done..then just get d extra hair plucked off.

You can use lash serum or rogain for the brows but in all its still patience waiting but worth it in the end :-)

Get bangs and wait I did and I love how my brows look now took 3 months to fully grow in so it is a process but worth it because eyebrows are very important they frame your face

Get a mixing bottle and add part castor oil and part coconut oil apply every night before bed works really well.

Try using castor oil on them. It makes my eyelashes grow so I bet it'll help your eyebrows. Good luck!

Apply every evening oil ( olive, castor etc.. also may ask at drugstore for a mix destinated to brows)on them and leave for few hours (2-3), but never leave for the night. Yoy can buy a stencil to shape then at the end of the week and avoid having some 'bushes' above your eyes. When washing hair and use a mask/ balsam put some on the brows too.
Personally I'm growing then since last september, and they didn't fully grow:-)

What does it mean by grow out? do you shave them off or something?

There is no type of oil to help hair growth for brows or lashes. There is a great thread by Jacqueline H that explains the growth process and understanding the steps.it also mentions how lash serum is the only scientific known proof of growth.

Get a thick concealer to slightly cover up the incoming hairs
Try to fill in your current brow as best you can
This will just take the attention away

Alma, that's a useful link, I've read it want to ask it says that oils can make roors of hair stronger, but can they repair damaged by plucking brows in a wrong way and wake them up to start growing? and I've read few months ago that only products which can really make brows and lashes grow contain hormones, is it right?
And also I've read that an iranian substance used for coloring hair can make brows grow like crazy.

Merci, Jacqueline, and I think that over-plucking is a myth and an excuse not to be patient and be a lil bushy for a period. My mom did a mess with her left brow for last 5 years, they were totally uneven, but I told he not to touch it and it will start growing, guess what - her brow is almost done now:-) I'm not a fan of hormonal products but when I started growing them up ppl were recommending some hormonal serums. But thank God, I'm a 'fluffy' girl and they are growing pretty fast, even if not that fast as I would like:-)

Hair like nails is a waste product. Hair growth speeds up slightly during pregnacy and menstrual cycle. There is nothing you can do or ingest to make it grow faster.

Apply petroleum jelly. Before going to bed.

Jacqueline as a former tweezer happy woman I can vouch for the hair loss theory! Since I've become licensed and a threader I've seen my brows come back- bit they are not the same. I believe that every time a hair is removed the blood flow to the follicle is disrupted. I believe when this happens it can cause the thickness of the hair to change and become finer over time until finally the damage is so severe it severs the folicle from the blood supply completely and hair is no longer produced. I have seen how this process can happen from one bad service and over time. I 100% believe it is real and feel I'm living proof!
