I use it for make up removal I remove my make up in the shower and rinse it off then put a thin layer all over my face and let it sit while I shave or something then I wash it off with my purity face wash and I have really soft hydrated skin ^.^ and no it doesn't break me out I have oily skin but this seems to of helped a little I'm not as oily later on in the day.

And I use it as a body moisturizer after the shower. And if it's raw organic coconut oil you can use it to cook too! (: I do it doesn't change the smell of the food or anything.

You can cook with it in place of veggie oil or what ever other oil you cook with.

Do you have to melt it or warm it before using it as a moisturizer, or does it just spread nicely as a solid?

You can substitute raw organic coconut oil for butter too, if you're baking it is an even exchange between better. It's healthier because it doesn't have cholesterol or saturated fats but it has healthy fats. And like all the other lovely ladies said it's great for hair and skin :)
