Baby powder is a good option as Sabrina mentioned. Although if you have brown hair the baby powder can make it look ashy at the roots (bc the powder is white as I'm sure you know! It actually makes my blonde hair look lighter when I use it). Just be sure to apply the powder to your hands first and then rub them together to disperse the powder evenly and concentrate right at the roots, in sections. Let it sit for 5 mins and then massage your scalp. Don't over do it and start with small amounts! Something else I recommend is brushing your hair with a boar bristle brush before the baby powder because the natural bristles distribute your hairs natural oils down the hair shaft and can definitely help! Plus the natural hair oils are healthy for your hair and scalp. Take care :)

Cornstarch with a touch baby powder and it won't be ashy :)
