Halloween sugar skull help!

I will be doing 'Dia de Los Muertos/Sugar Skull' makeup for Halloween. Does anyone know what to wear or how to do my hair? I was thinking of wearing a tight black skirt and a sheer black shirt, or else black skinny jeans and a blazer. I have these shoes, and this flower to put in my hair. I will be following a black and white theme.

I'd keep hair straight and down, maybe a middle parting, and just stick to the skirt and shirt combo :)

I was thinking of doing a traditional Mexican-style hairstyle, like voluminous curls and a flower behind my ear, to fit in with the style of the makeup.
